by breast cancer’s life saving surgery is
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD®).
Other cancer surgeries may cause lymphedema
on other parts of the body as well.

therapists are trained in the MLD
techniques. This very careful hand movement
used with Combined Decongestive Therapy
(CDT) can produce relief for swelling
conditions. CDT is using the MLD method,
compression bandaging and compression
